At the 2021 EducationUSA Forum, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Cardona announce a Joint Statement of Principles in Support of International Education. The Joint Statement is the first such public affirmation in over 20 years! It renews focus on the role of international education in improving U.S. diplomacy, global competitiveness, higher education, and the lives of the American people.
